Miles: 13 miles
Desc: Located on western rim of NMs Sacramento Mountains, the Rim Trail winds through pine and fir trees, quaking aspen and meadows. Several access points from Hwy 6563.
Take Hwy 130 south from Cloudcroft for 1.9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Sunspot Hwy (36563) for 0.2 miles. Paved pullout at entrance to Slide campground - trailhead parking.
