Miles: 1.3 miles
Desc: Trail leads to fire lookout with 360 view of Pike National Forest, plains. Interpretative signs along trail explaining the role of forest fires. Climb 948 ft through ponderosa pine/douglas fir forest, to granite outcrop.
Hwy 85 (Sedalia) take State Hwy 67 10 miles W to Indian Creek Work Center. 9 miles S. on Rampart Range Road to trail head at parking lot at Devils Head picnic site/camp. From S. take Rampart Range Road from Woodland Park or Hwy 67 from Deckers.
